LifeToy by Khoda AI

The technology behind conversational AI toys.

A talking toy is an entire connected experience: the object in someone's hands, the character they meet, and the services that keep it working. Khoda AI brings these parts together through LifeToy.

This is the company perspective on building AI toys and plushies. For current product examples, platform features and partner access, visit the LifeToy website.

Where AI toys and AI plushies meet

A conventional talking toy may play a fixed recording. A conversational AI toy uses software to interpret a spoken turn and create a response. Its personality, language and interaction rules are part of the product design.

An AI plush toy puts that experience into a soft toy or stuffed animal. The plush body creates its own practical requirements: microphone placement, speaker acoustics, accessible controls and a suitable place for the electronics. A plastic figure may use a different physical layout while sharing the same character software.

From physical toy to character platform

LifeToy connects these areas so a product team can develop one coherent experience. The exact combination depends on the project.

Voice hardware

Microphones, speakers, power, controls and wireless connectivity connect the physical toy with the conversation. Their placement and integration depend on the toy's shape and use.

Firmware and connectivity

Software on the device manages its operation and connects it to online services. Setup, connection recovery and updates are part of the product experience.

Conversation and character

A character's voice, personality, stories and interaction boundaries guide the conversation. Language choices and behavior need to be reviewed for the intended audience.

Cloud, app and Studio

Cloud services support the connected experience, the app helps people set up and access characters, and LifeToy Studio gives teams tools to configure and manage them.

Bearie, a LifeToy bear character by Khoda AI

Bearie makes the idea tangible

Bearie is a LifeToy bear character that shows how a recognizable plush form can become a conversational companion. It is a starting point for discussing the combination of character design, voice and a physical object.

Khoda AI is the company behind LifeToy; LifeToy is the platform and product brand. A partner's character can have its own identity. Compatibility, availability and release requirements are assessed for each toy rather than assumed from a demonstration.

LifeToy mobile app: a character experience in your pocket

Discover characters and start voice conversations through the LifeToy mobile app, including character experiences that do not require a physical toy. For supported LifeToy hardware, the app also brings setup and connection controls into the same place.

We are preparing the mobile app for release on the App Store and Google Play. Store downloads are coming soon; there is no announced launch date. Hardware support and available character features depend on the specific product.

A planned marketplace for LifeToy partners

Khoda AI is developing the LifeToy Marketplace so business partners can present their characters and sell plush toys that use LifeToy technology. Our goal is to connect the character experience with a clear product description and a choice of offerings.

The planned visitor journey is to talk with a character, ask questions about the product and choose an offering with or without LifeToy hardware. The planned range includes digital character experiences and physical plush toys; each listing will explain what is included and which features it supports. Marketplace purchasing is planned and is not yet available as a complete live service.

What we discuss before a prototype

Your toy and audience

Share the character, physical design and intended use. Describe who will interact with it and where the experience will take place.

The first conversation

Choose one useful play experience, the languages it needs, its tone and clear boundaries. A focused prototype makes the experience easier to evaluate.

The whole product journey

Plan setup, connectivity, controls, data handling and ongoing operation alongside the voice. These decisions affect the experience after the first conversation.

Validation and launch scope

Agree what the prototype must demonstrate and what still needs product, safety and market-specific review before release.
